Going to Lisbon, Portugal was probably one of my favorite trips despite European Vibe ripping us off on our touring and getting stung by a bee and ruining two pairs of shoes (more on that here). The city is beautiful--pastel buildings, a castle overlooking it all, etc. It might have helped that the sun was always shining while were there and it was such a stark contrast from chilly England, where I had been to earlier that week. This snapshot is of the time we decided to take the tramcar for the experience, and it broke down on us about midway through our trip. We decided to just wait it out and in the meantime I got one of my favorite pictures from abroad.
