Since it's going to be a while until I live in such easy driving distance from DC (seriously, so easy), I escaped to the city for a day trip with a few friends. We didn't do anything spectacular, just moseyed about the city, taking in the day (when it didn't rain!). There's only so long I can be in a small town these days, at least when it comes to Chestertown, and I loved getting back to a city even if it was just for a few hours. We grabbed lunch at on of the Potbelly Sandwich Shop and dinner at Founding Farmers--both excellent choices! We got lucky and grabbed a table quickly so long as we ate within the hour instead of waiting ninety minutes for a seat.
I even got to meet up and catch up with my 3G!
